Cursor Just Released GrokBot (Powerful AI Agent for Normal People)

0:18 staff, you can have a sales manager, an accountant, basically AI employees that handle different departments of your business. And every single one of these AI agents also has its own cloud

0:27 computer, so it can do its own work. And plus, it also connects with a lot of the apps that you guys already use like Gmail, Slack, Notion, and there's actually a lot more. Now, I've been

0:34 playing around with this for the past 48 hours and I got to say I'm pretty blown away. And I believe that this might be the turning point when regular people are finally going to start using AI

0:44 agents. So, in this video, I'm going to show you a couple of use cases that I was able to get with GrokBot and answer one of the biggest questions, which is is this actually any good? So, let's get

0:53 started. All right, so if you go to the website here, you're going to see that they're positioning this product as a messaging platform where you can assign jobs to your AI

1:02 agents, right? AI teammates you can give real work to. So, they want you to feel like you're working with AI agents {slash} employees and each AI agent will have their specific role, right? So, if

1:12 you notice on Cloud Code, on the left sidebar, you're going to see all your sessions or your projects. But here on GrokBot, you actually see the chats with your AI agents. And this is exactly what

1:22 it would look like if you're on Slack or Telegram. So, they want to replicate that experience for you. Now, to start using this, you can simply go and download the macOS app. You can create

1:31 an account and you land on the desktop app looking like this. And I'm going to talk about pricing later because it's not cheap and their free trial is actually kind of hidden. So, so I'll

1:38 show you how to get to the free trial a bit later. Now, as you can see, I've already set up all my agents here. I have a chief of staff, I have Casey who's a writer, and I have John

1:46 thumbnail editor, I have Jenny who's my travel agent, and Sadie my researcher, and Mario my video editor. And they're each doing their own specific task. Now, when you're first setting this up, you

1:56 obviously only get one agent, but it's very easy to add an agent, and you can create a new bot. Or, you can even go to your chief of staff and ask it to spin up some new agents and give it a short

2:06 description of what you want the agents to do. Now, I think the best way to think about this is that you want to think about what you do on a daily basis in your business, and you want to group

2:15 those tasks into each category. And then, you want to delegate that specific category to a specific agent, right? So, for example, for me as a content creator, I have to find video ideas, to

2:25 write the script, I have to edit the video, and I also have a newsletter that I write. So, there's a lot of moving parts, and I do this by myself. I don't have any employees. So, this kind of

2:33 agent setup is actually perfect for that, because every agent here is primed to do one specific thing, and it gets better and better the more that you use it, right? Now, I think one of the

2:43 useful things that you can do is for the agent here to go through my emails and give me a summary of who I need to respond to. But first, I got to connect to my Gmail, right? So, I can say

2:52 something like, "Hey, connect to my Gmail account." And then, it's going to use the Gmail MCP to connect to Gmail, and all I need to do is click on authorize, select the account that I

3:01 want it to connect to, and I'm done. So, if I go back here, it says it's added, and now everything is ready. Now, I can ask it to just summarize my email, right? "Look at my emails in the past 3

3:10 days and give me a report. Don't show any dollar figures." And then, it's going to take some time to go through my emails. Now, while we're waiting, I'm going to show you guys this plugin page

3:19 here. If you click on this, you can actually connect to even more apps, things like Google Calendar, Google Drive, Notion, even Slack, or Granola here, so it can help you summarize and

3:29 get contacts from your call recordings as well. And if you scroll down, there's actually a bunch more that you can connect to. They even have things like Superbase and Vercel here, so if you're

3:39 building websites or apps, you can immediately deploy your projects. And you can also connect to your GitHub account. So, the list here is quite comprehensive. Now, I want to go back

3:48 and check if it's done. All right, so it gave me all this, and that just took about 5 to 10 seconds, which is pretty quick. And if I wanted to respond to some of these emails, it probably could.

3:58 Now, one of the things that I love about having multiple AI agents like this, especially with Grok bot here, is that you can ask them to collaborate, right? So, let's say I wanted to research about

4:07 a particular topic, and I wanted to summarize that research and turn it into a newsletter. So, I can say something like, "Hey, research Claude's latest release, any new features or

4:17 announcements, and then you want to write a 300-word newsletter on Claude to summarize it. Talk to Sadie and Casey here, and discuss on how to do that. And I want you to give me a plan first

4:26 before executing." So, I'm going to hit go, and I'm sending this to my chief of staff, which is now going to delegate the task to the other agents. So, you can see all these agents are being

4:36 animated now, and they're doing their work. And look just how fast that was, right? Cuz it already has a plan for me here, and then I just need to approve it or

4:45 tweak it even more. Now, what's interesting about this is that if I go to one of the agents here, Sadie, if I click on this, I can actually peek into the conversation that I had with the

4:55 chief of staff. So, if I click on this, you can see that this is the chat or the interaction that they had with each other. And I think this whole experience is just like having a real office with

5:05 employees, and you can collaborate with each other, right? And if I go to Casey here, who's the writer, I can also see the messages here. And then, I can also chat with Casey directly, or I can go

5:16 back to chief of staff and have everything done through the boss here. But, one thing I noticed is that it is very quick in responding and doing things. Cuz I ran something like this

5:26 before with Claude, and it took about 5 minutes to run, especially if it has to spin up a couple of more agents. It just took about 20 seconds, and it's done. And now, let's say I want to book a

5:36 hotel in Tokyo for an upcoming trip. I can say something like, "Hey, I want to stay at the Hyatt Centric in Ginza, Tokyo in January. What is the best time to go for the the rate? I'm staying for

5:46 4 nights, 1 room, for example. So, I can just hit go, and it's probably going to assign this task to Jenny here, the travel expert. Yep, so it's doing that, and Jenny's actually doing that work.

5:57 So, I'm going to click on Jenny here and see what it's doing. Going to see what they're talking about here. Okay, so she got the message from Chief of Staff. I want hotel research, where I'm staying,

6:07 how many nights. Let's go back to the main chat here, and it's still doing its work. So, I'm going to come back to this. Now, the other cool thing that I really like about Rock bot is the fact

6:16 that they have a really good iOS app. So, this is actually Rock bot on my phone, and you can see that it looks exactly like the desktop app. So, whatever conversation that you have with

6:27 your AI agent on your desktop is going to sync up 100% automatically to your iOS app. So, if I click on Chief of Staff here, you can see that it is the exact conversation that you're going to

6:37 see on the desktop app. And I can even go back and go to a Casey, for example, and then I can click on the messages that they've been sending between them, and all this is very seamless. And as

6:48 you can imagine, this is great if you are leaving your office, for example, you can still continue your conversation with your AI agent on the go. Or maybe you're just outside and you want to ask

6:57 something to your agent, you can do that anytime, anywhere, because this thing is on 24/7. Now, Claude and ChatGPT do have some version of this, but it's nowhere as seamless, and I've never seen

7:07 anything done as perfectly as this. Now, I did mention earlier that each agent comes with its own cloud computer. So, if you click on this computer icon on the right side here, you can see that

7:16 the Chief of Staff has his own cloud computer, where if you click on it, you can actually go to it, and you can browse the internet as well. And this is a computer for the agent to use to do

7:26 browsing, to do research, and you can even log in to the apps that you want it to log into. And this is the thing that allows you to connect to it wherever you are. So, you don't have to have a

7:35 separate Mac Mini or turn on your laptop 24/7, and you don't even need a VPS. So, everything lives on this computer. If you're outside in the middle of nowhere, you can still access your agents and ask

7:46 it to do some work. All right, so what do I think about this? So, number one, I think it's really, really fast. Something that would have taken me 5 minutes in Claude can be finished in

7:53 like 30 seconds to a minute in Grok Grokbot. So, that's something that I really like and it's very easy to set up. All you need to do is create the agents and then you can start doing The

8:03 only setting up that you need to do is probably connect to your Gmail or your other tools. But, even that is just one click and you're good to go. So, there's no permissions or toggles or anything

8:11 like that. So, I think it's really easy for people that are not technical to begin using AI agents like this. And of course, if you're comparing this with like something like Hermes or Open Claw,

8:21 like I said, it's a lot easier to set up. There's no need to buy a Mac Mini cuz it's always on. I think this is really good for people who don't want to spend the time to set things up. They

8:30 just want to use it right away. And I also like the way that the UI is designed here with all the animations. I think it's pretty engaging. And when the agents talk to each other, I can

8:38 actually see the chats. And the fact that I can name all these agents and I can also put a description here, can have a name, I can have a title, can have a description of what this agent

8:48 does. I think that makes it a lot clearer. So, I can see what the role of this agent is. So, it feels like running a real company with all these employees, right? Now, is this going to replace

8:57 Claude Code or Codex? Well, no, because I think those are two different tools. So, I'm still going to use Claude for my daily driver. When I'm building things, when I have tasks or projects to build,

9:08 that is the main tool that I'm going to be using. But, for Grokbot, I would think of this as my teammates or my employees, right? So, I can have individual agents doing specific things

9:18 or different things like booking flights, doing research for me, responding to emails, all these things. And I can have all these agents collaborate with each other. So, so I

9:26 think this is where agentic AI is actually going. And I believe that this is the most consumer-friendly product out there today. And if you notice, this is actually still in version, actually
